Week 2: Half Marathon Training (SF Half)

Merry Christmas!!! This week has been kind of a down week as far as the training.  We traveled to Chicago a few days ago and had a couple of bumps as well. No worries, next week should be much better. Here is the log:

Training log:
Monday:
6 miles
Tuesday: Rest
Wednesday: 6 miles
Thursday: 3 miles + legwork
Friday/Saturday/Sunday: Rest
Total: 15 miles

Notes:
Thursday’s legwork consisted of squats and lunges, which I have not done in a long time. Today, my legs are still burning from the leg workout, hence, the rest days over the weekend.
Friday night, I had a pretty bad food allergic reaction & spent most of the weekend recovering from the incident. Don’t worry, I feel much better today!
Mood: Optimistic, next week will be much better and finishing  up the last week of base training.
